MMlaw is recruiting emplyoment law trainees

Our Employment team is recruiting two trainees to join the firm in September 2025 or January 2026 for a six-month placement.

We advise French and international companies on the management of their employment-related issues and on the organisation of individual and collective employment relations, both at the advisory and negotiation stages and in litigation, before all courts that may have jurisdiction in the event of an employment dispute.

Your areas of work will include:

  • Negotiation, drafting, amendment and performance of employment contracts
  • Day-to-day HR management
  • Executive status and remuneration
  • Individual dismissals and settlement agreements
  • Employment aspects of M&A and Private Equity transactions
  • Restructurings, preparation of redundancy plans and collective redundancies
  • Collective bargaining
  • Workplace accidents and occupational diseases
  • Discrimination and harassment matters
  • International mobility
  • Criminal employment law

Within a close-knit team, you will be trained by the two partners leading the practice and will be fully involved in the firm’s matters.

Your responsibilities:

  • Legal research
  • Assisting with the drafting of legal opinions
  • Assisting with the drafting of all types of documents, including court submissions
  • Participating in due diligence exercises
  • Preparing for and attending client meetings

Your profile:
You hold a postgraduate degree (Master’s level) in business law or employment law, have a strong interest in the field and/or are a trainee lawyer. You have already completed internships in courts, companies or law firms in this area.

You are autonomous and rigorous. Strong interpersonal skills, together with solid analytical and drafting abilities, will be key to succeeding in this role.

Fluent written and spoken English is required; Spanish would be an additional asset.
